By accessing or using Kitedoc ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Kitedoc is a document sharing platform that allows users to upload, share, and track documents. The Service includes document conversion, analytics, and customizable branding features.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information and to update it as necessary. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to upload, share, or distribute any content that:

• Infringes on intellectual property rights or copyrights
• Contains malware, viruses, or any form of malicious code
• Includes pornographic, sexually explicit, or obscene material
• Contains hate speech, threats, or content promoting violence
• Includes personal data of others without their consent (doxxing)
• Contains classified, restricted, or export-controlled information
• Facilitates fraud, phishing, or financial scams
• Distributes pirated software, media, or other copyrighted material
• Contains illegal drug formulations or manufacturing instructions
• Includes weapons blueprints, explosive instructions, or similar dangerous material
• Violates any applicable local, national, or international law

5. Prohibited Document Types

The following types of documents are strictly prohibited on Kitedoc:

• Malicious files — executables, scripts, or files disguised as documents that contain malware or exploit code
• Illegal content — any material that is illegal to possess or distribute in your jurisdiction
• CSAM — child sexual abuse material of any kind, with zero tolerance
• Stolen data — leaked databases, credentials, personal records obtained without authorization
• Counterfeit documents — forged IDs, certificates, licenses, or official government documents
• Regulated information — medical records (HIPAA), financial records, or other data requiring specialized compliance unless you have the appropriate plan and agreements in place
• Spam or bulk marketing — documents created for mass unsolicited distribution

6. Content Moderation and Removal

We reserve the right to review, remove, or disable access to any content that violates these Terms, without prior notice. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or termination.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the documents you upload. By uploading content, you grant Kitedoc a limited license to store, process, and display your documents solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

8. Payments and Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time, and your plan will remain active until the end of the billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods. Prices are in USD and exclude applicable taxes.

9. Limitation of Liability

Kitedoc is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including data loss, unauthorized access, or service interruptions.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your documents will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification.
